Away from the live entertainment scene that made STAGECO's name, the company's office in the Netherlands has been working on a major public infrastructure, notably the Gerrit Krolbrug pontoon bridge in Groningen. Following a traffic collision in May 2021 that damaged the Gerrit Krolbrug bridge, STAGECO built shallow zigzag ramps using Layher scaffolding and non-slip plastic sheets, enhancing access for cyclists and less mobile individuals. The project, led by Dennis de Graaf with on-site management by Jorrit van de Kolk and Remco Hakkert, involved transporting over 30,000 items and constructing four hairpin bends for smoother cycling access. The ramps will be in use until a new bridge is constructed in mid-2026.
