Coldplay - Mylo Xyloto Tour 2012

Stageco created the supporting structures for Coldplay's European leg of their Mylo Xyloto tour which has been noted for its impressive stage effects and visuals and traversed 19 cities across 21 live shows between may and september, 2012. Followed by an extra 3 dates in Australia fall 2012. Marking the band's fifth studio album, Stageco provided screen supports, towers and scaffolding for an eye-catching roofless staging system that toured Europe for three months.   The tour required extensive hanging weight capacity as the lighting and production designer created a production that centralized around a unique lighting experience and impressive visual production. Supports and scaffolding were required to carry the five large circular video screens that formed the central focus of this set design without the support of a roofing system.   This project builds on a long and successful working relationship with Coldplay, as Stageco delivered the bespoke stage for the stadium leg of the band's 2009 Viva la Vida tour followed by the creation of a unique stage for a special one off performance in Plaz del Toro de las Ventas, Madrid in november 2011.
